Broken file attach in Fedora 36/37#794

Hi,
The reason I can’t start paying for Newton is that is still bad UX in some places.
For example, this is critical bug for me: Linux Fedora 36 and 37 - if I compose a message and drag and drop a file to attach, is not working. If I use the attach file button, it opoens a broken uninteligible browser for files, see attached.

it’s because of snap, other apps that are used through snap have the same issue

Is there any solution for this? And also for the generic icon instead of a newton one? It’s quite irritating…
