I have Newton Mail installed on several MacOS, one iOS, and two iPadOS devices. In the past few days, especially for my employer’s Gmail, Newton has stopped updating. I can log out and log back in and maybe half the time, it will refresh. Newton is also crashing a lot, especially on a MacOS device that just awakened from sleep. Crickets from NewtonHQ.
I’m having exactly the same problem. With exactly the same Crickets response. So disappointing.
Still no response from Newton, but my instances of Newton on MacOS has improved after I tried to “add” my employer’s Gmail 1) back to my account; 2) decided to open the “important” folder; and 3) saw a black box that said something do you want to sync this folder (which I clicked). And shazzam, things started working again.
This really makes me want to subscribe! lol
